🧭 App Analytics: Analyse Urls
Overview
The Analyse Urls page helps you understand where app sessions begin and how users reach certain pages during their visit.
This page focuses on originating URLs, meaning the first tracked page visited in a session.
What this section does
From this page, you can:
See the first page visited in a session
Search for sessions that included a specific URL
Review the originating URL for those sessions
Understand how users begin their browsing journey in the app

How to use Analyse Urls
1. Use “Originating URLs by Searched URL”
This section lets you enter a visited URL, or part of one, and then find the originating URL for sessions that included that page.
The table shows:
Session ID
Originating URL
Created At
This is useful when you want to answer questions like:
“When users reached this page, where did they start?”
2. Use the date range filter
Choose the date range you want to analyse before running your search.
3. Search by URL or partial URL
You do not always need the full URL — part of the address can be enough to find matching results.
4. Review “Originating URLs (First Page Visited per Session)”
This section shows the first tracked page visited for each session.
The table includes:
Session ID
Originating URL
First Visit
This is useful for identifying common entry points into the app.
5. Reset filters when needed
Use Reset to clear the search and date filters.
