How to use Download Link Source Queries
1. Understand the default link
The default source is the standard app download link.
It does not include a custom source parameter.
This is usually your general-purpose download link.
2. Add a new source query
Click Add to create a new tracked source.
You can use this for examples such as:
Facebook campaign
Email footer
Poster QR code
In-store flyer
Website banner
3. Use the action buttons
Depending on the row, you may see:
Edit — change the name or query value
QR Code — generate a QR code for that link
Copy — copy the full download URL
Delete — remove the custom source query
The default source cannot be edited or deleted.
4. Monitor hits
The Hits column shows how many times that source link has been used.
This can help you compare which source is sending the most traffic.
Best practice tips
Use a different source query for each campaign or placement
Choose names that are easy for your team to recognise
Keep query values short and consistent
Use QR codes for print materials, packaging, posters, and in-store displays
