📢 Push Campaigns: Analytics
Summary:
The Analytics screen gives you a more detailed view of push campaign performance, including queued, sent, and failed pushes, as well as recent push log activity.
Overview
The Analytics screen is the reporting area for the Push Campaigns module.
It helps you understand:
-
how many campaigns you have
-
how many pushes have been queued
-
how many have been sent
-
how many have failed
-
which campaigns are performing
-
what recent push activity looks like
This screen is ideal for monitoring live campaign performance.
Section 1: Summary figures
At the top of the page, the Analytics screen shows:
-
Total Campaigns
-
Pushes Queued
-
Pushes Sent
-
Pushes Failed
These figures give you a quick performance snapshot.
What these figures tell you
-
Queued shows how many pushes entered the queue
-
Sent shows how many were successfully delivered
-
Failed shows how many encountered an issue during sending
If queued is increasing but sent is not, that may suggest a delivery or processing issue that should be investigated.
Section 2: Campaign Performance table
This section breaks down performance by campaign.
The table includes columns such as:
-
Campaign
-
Status
-
Priority
-
Matched Users
-
Queued
-
Sent
-
Failed
-
Last Queued
-
Last Sent
How to use this table
Use it to see:
-
which campaigns are matching users
-
which campaigns are actually queueing pushes
-
which campaigns are successfully sending pushes
-
whether any campaigns are failing
-
when the most recent activity took place
Understanding the fields
Matched Users
The number of users who have matched the campaign.
Queued
The number of push records that have been added to the queue.
Sent
The number of pushes successfully sent.
Failed
The number of pushes that failed during sending or processing.
Last Queued / Last Sent
The most recent date/time the campaign queued or sent a push.
Section 3: Recent Log
The Recent Log gives you row-level visibility into individual push activity.
It includes:
-
campaign
-
recipient
-
title
-
status
-
queued date/time
-
sent date/time
-
error information
Why this is useful
This section is very helpful when you want to investigate a specific issue, such as:
-
whether a campaign fired recently
-
whether a particular user received a push
-
whether a push was queued but not sent
-
whether a push failed, and why
The Error column is especially important when troubleshooting failed sends.
Section 4: When to use Analytics
The Analytics screen is most useful when:
-
you have recently launched a new campaign
-
you want to compare campaign performance
-
you are checking whether queued pushes are being processed
-
you want to investigate failures or delivery issues
-
you want evidence that a campaign is functioning as intended
Section 5: Recommended monitoring workflow
After creating or updating a campaign, a good process is:
-
build and save the campaign
-
test it in the Preview Tool
-
check the Dashboard for initial activity
-
review Analytics for sent, failed, and recent log data
-
adjust the campaign if the performance is not as expected
Section 6: Best practice
-
use Analytics regularly for live campaigns
-
compare matched users against queued and sent counts
-
investigate failed pushes promptly
-
use the Recent Log to confirm whether a campaign has actually run
-
combine Analytics with the Preview Tool when diagnosing problems
