📢 Push Campaigns: Dashboard
Summary:
The Dashboard gives you a quick overview of your Push Campaigns activity, including how many campaigns you have, how many are active, and the latest push queue activity.
Overview
The Dashboard is the main summary page for the Push Campaigns module. It is designed to give you a quick snapshot of how your campaigns are performing without needing to open each campaign individually.
This screen is useful for checking whether campaigns exist, whether they are active, and whether push notifications are entering the queue and being sent.
What this page shows
The Dashboard includes headline figures for:
-
Total Campaigns
The total number of push campaigns currently saved in your App dashboard. -
Active Campaigns
The number of campaigns currently set to active. -
Pushes Queued
The total number of push notifications that have been added to the queue. -
Pushes Sent
The total number of push notifications that have been successfully sent.
Below the summary figures, the page also shows a Latest Queue Activity table.
This table displays recent push activity, including:
-
the campaign name
-
the recipient
-
the push title
-
the status
-
the queued date/time
If there has not yet been any activity, the table will show that no queue activity exists yet.
How to use the Dashboard
Use this page when you want to:
-
confirm that campaigns have been created
-
see whether campaigns are active
-
check whether pushes are being queued
-
monitor whether queued pushes are being sent
-
get a quick sense of overall activity before looking deeper in Analytics
Understanding the latest activity table
Each row in the latest activity table represents a recent queued push record.
You may see recipients displayed as:
-
a First Party ID
-
a OneSignal subscriber ID
-
or an internal User #ID
This depends on what user information is available for that app user.
The Status column helps you understand what stage the push is at. For example, a push may be queued first, and later show as sent once delivery has been processed.
Best practice
The Dashboard is the best first place to look after:
-
creating a new campaign
-
editing a live campaign
-
testing a campaign in the Preview Tool
-
checking whether cron-based push processing is working as expected
If the Dashboard figures are not moving as expected, the next places to check are:
-
Campaigns for the campaign setup itself
-
Preview Tool for rule matching and queue eligibility
-
Analytics for more detailed logs and campaign performance
