📰 Publishx: Overview
Overview
The Publishx module allows you to create and manage news, blog, and content posts for both your website and your mobile app.
You can use it to publish:
- Standard articles
- Gallery posts
- Poll posts
- Video posts
It also lets you organise content using categories and languages, and control the appearance of your public-facing newsfeed.

Important note about themes
The module includes multiple frontend themes, but only the Apparati theme is currently complete.
You should not change the theme unless you have been specifically instructed to do so.
Website view and app view
Publishx supports two frontend experiences:
- Website view
- App view
When creating a post, you can choose:
- App Only
- Website and App
This setting controls how much content a website visitor can see.
If you choose App Only:
Website visitors will only see the short content preview. This is designed to encourage them to download the app to:
- react to posts
- take part in polls
If you choose Website and App:
Website visitors can view the full content on the website as well as in the app.
Feed URL Link behaviour
When creating any post, you can add a Feed URL Link.
If this field is filled in, then from the newsfeed or summary page, clicking See more will take the user to that link instead of opening the full article page.
This is useful when you want a post to act as a traffic driver to another page, product, campaign, or external website.
