Translation

🌍 App Centre: Translation

Overview

The Translation page allows you to change the wording used within the app.

This is useful when you want to rename standard labels, buttons, or wording so they better match your brand, audience, or preferred terminology.

What this section does

From this page, you can:

  • View the list of app translation keys
  • Edit the wording linked to each key
  • Save custom wording for use in the app

Where to find it:

App Centre → Translation

How this page works

The page shows a table with:

  • Key — the internal translation identifier
  • Value — the actual wording shown in the app

You can edit the Value field for any row and save your changes.

How to use it

Change only the wording in the Value column.

The Key should not normally be changed, as it identifies where that wording is used in the app.

Examples of how this page may be used:

  • changing “Home” to a different term
  • changing generic wording to suit your business
  • updating button text
  • changing labels to better suit your audience

Best practice

  • Only change the wording, not the purpose of the message
  • Keep text short and clear for mobile users
  • Be consistent with your brand language
  • Check the app after changes to make sure the wording still fits the space available
