🧪 App Centre: Useragent
Overview
The Useragent page manages the custom user-agent strings that the app can use when opening website content.
This is a more technical area and is generally set by Hoofpick/Apparati if required.
Most clients will not need to make changes here.
What this section does
From this page, you can:
- View existing user-agent profiles
- See which user-agent is active
- Enable a different user-agent
- Edit a user-agent
- Delete a user-agent
- Add a new user-agent
Where to find it:
App Centre → Useragent
How this page works
Each row shows:
- Title — the name of the user-agent profile
- Status — whether it is Active or Inactive
- Enable — allows you to activate that profile
- Action — edit or delete options
Important behaviour
Only one user-agent can be active at a time.
When you enable one profile, the system disables the others automatically.
Also, the module prevents you from removing the only active user-agent, so there is always at least one enabled.
Best practice
This page should normally only be used if Hoofpick/Apparati has advised a change for a specific technical reason, such as compatibility with a website or third-party service.
