⚙️ Publishx: Settings
Overview
The Settings page controls the general behaviour and appearance of your Publishx newsfeed and article area.
This page affects both the public website/news area and elements used in the app-facing version.

Main settings
Blog Logo
Upload the main logo shown in the frontend news area.
Favicon Logo
Upload the small icon used in browser tabs and some device contexts.
Blog Title
The main title of the news/blog area.
Blog Description
A short description used in the frontend and metadata.
OpenAI Key
Used for AI-assisted content generation features within the module.
This should only be changed if you have been instructed to do so.
AI Brand Context
Used to guide AI-generated content so it fits your brand.
AI Default Tone
Sets the default writing tone for AI assistance.
AI Default Language
Sets the default language for AI-assisted content.
Posts Per Page
Controls how many posts appear in the feed before pagination or further loading.
Google Analytics Code
Optional analytics tracking code for the frontend news/blog area.
Show on Client Side
Controls whether Publishx content is shown on the public side.
Display Post Author
Controls whether the post author name is shown on article pages.
Social Media URLs
You can add links for:
- X
- YouTube
These may be used in the frontend theme.
Custom CSS
Used to apply custom styling to the Publishx frontend.
Only change this if you are comfortable with CSS or have been advised to do so.
Custom JS
Used to add custom JavaScript to the Publishx frontend.
Only change this if you know exactly what is required.
Primary Domain
Used as the main website/shop link in the frontend theme.
RSS Feed
Used if your main website news content or feed setup requires an RSS source.
QR Code
Upload a QR code image, typically used to support app download promotion at the end of artciles on website view.
Download Link
The app store or download URL connected to your app.
This can be used in app-promotion flows.
Best practice
Only change settings you understand.
Be especially careful with:
- OpenAI Key
- Custom CSS
- Custom JS
- Theme-related settings
